Fever Professional Teeth Whitening Kit FAQs
How does it work?
The mouth tray is filled with a thin layer of our whitening gel (recommended amount of whitening gel is 0.5 ml per session), pressed against your teeth then activated under the LED light. Our active ingredient breaks apart the chemical bonds in organic surface stains and inorganic stains found inside of your tooth. The structure of your tooth isn't affected in any way. We strongly recommend you follow the step by step instructions included in your teeth whitening kit. Please ensure you read all recommended warnings before use.
How much whitening sessions will I get in a kit?
You will receive 3 x syringes in your kit, and each syringe holds 3 ml of whitening gel. That should be 15-18 sessions. We recommend using no more than 0.5 ml of whitening gel per session which should give you 18 sessions in total per kit.
All whitening syringes have a measuring ruler on them so you can measure the amount accurately.
How long does it take?
We recommend you whiten for 40 minutes to a maximum of 1 hour per session to get the best results. User discretion is advised as we are all different. If you experience any painful discomfort at any time, please discontinue use and rinse your mouth thoroughly for more info visit here.
How often should I whiten?
Results will vary from person to person. Most of our customers go 3-5 shades lighter in just one application and prefer to whiten monthly after that.
The general recommendation for whitening is one treatment per week, however, every individual is different, and user discretion is recommended. If you have sensitive skin, teeth or gums we would recommend whitening no more than once per month until you reach your desired shade and then once every 3 to 6 months to maintain your #feversmile.
What causes sensitivity?

What is the active ingredient?
Our product ingredients are non-toxic, cruelty-free and vegan-friendly.
The active ingredient is high quality 18% carbamide peroxide - the same used by dentists and the highest legal grade in New Zealand and Australia. The full ingredient list is available on the reverse of your package when purchased.
Can I use if I have braces, restorations, crowns, caps or veneers?
No, you can't. Whitening may interfere with the glue holding your braces on and will cause uneven whitening. We recommend using once you have your braces removed.
Our whitening gel only whitens natural tooth enamel. Therefore, it will not whiten restorations, crowns, caps or veneers. If you DIY Teeth Whiten your surrounding teeth bear in mind that your natural teeth will change colour and this can often make your restorations stand out more or look discoloured.
What should I do if the whitening solution comes into contact with my skin causing pain or discomfort to my skin, eyes or hair?
If the whitening solution comes into contact with any body part that it is not intended for, wash and flush the area with cold, clean water until it is removed. If you continue to experience any painful discomfort seek medical advice immediately.

Does teeth whitening cause cancer?
There have been recent reports that teeth whitening can cause cancer, especially items that produce the chemicals carbamide peroxide and hydrogen peroxide during the whitening process. The FDA is continually looking into teeth whitening products to ensure the safety for users. Despite the recent reports on the fact that these products cause cancer, the FDA has not seen evidence that this is the case. They are continuing to look into this as new products come out to ensure that they remain safe. There is a concern, which is why the FDA is further looking into the cases of people who developed cancer around the time of treatment. Visit FDA for updated reports before purchasing.
